Trump's Poll Numbers Are Underwater,41% apporoval

Don't get too excited - it means nothing.

According to Yahoo News, Trump has the worst first 100-day rating of any president since polling began 80 years ago, and it continues to decline. The latest poll from The Economist puts Trump’s disapproval rating at 53%, with a 41% approval rating. Anti-Trump Americans are overjoyed with these numbers and view them as an indication that Trump will leave office, at best, or his destructive actions will be halted, at the least.

My message to these people is “don’t get too excited”. A 41% approval rating is way too high for an aspiring dictator, especially when he has a spineless cultlike Congress chomping at the bit to kiss his ass. Unless they suddenly realize they must adhere to their oaths of office to protect and defend the Constitution.

As we have seen many times in the past, poll numbers can be totally wrong, especially in presidential elections. The midterm elections are coming up in 2026, which many people hope or believe will stop Trump in his tracks in his efforts to establish himself as the head of an authoritarian regime. In my opinion, this happening depends on two big “ifs”.

The first “if” is if the Trump administration will allow fair and free elections, and the second “if” is if Americans will remember what Trump has done to our country and the suffering he has caused our people. Americans have proven, time and time again, that they have very short memories.

Hopefully, Americans will continue to gather in mass protests against Trump’s illegal and unconstitutional actions in his quest to become a dictator, right up until the 2026 elections. And if there are elections, people remember the horror Trump has put our country through.

We must not become overly confident in a set of numbers. We must continue to be united in our actions to protest this fascist regime, as if our lives depend on those actions, because they do.
